SHEREESE SLATE is a force in beauty, media, and empowerment. With over 30 years of experience as a licensed hairstylist, department head, entrepreneur, author, and international speaker, she has helped shape the image and confidence of some of the most recognizable names in entertainment-while mentoring the next generation to
rise with purpose and professionalism.
Her credits span more than 100 film, TV, and commercial projects, including Disney’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Season 3), CSI: Las Vegas, Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Landman, and Bass Reeves. Shereese has styled icons such as Patti LaBelle, Ashanti, Ciara, Monica, Yolanda Adams, Nia Long, Brandon Flynn, and Patrick Mahomes. Her work has appeared at the Grammys, on Netflix, HBO, Apple+, MTV, Paramount, Hulu, and primetime TV, as well as in top publications like Forbes, InStyle, VIBE, Glamour UK, and People.
She is also the co-host of the talk show Vanities Live-a creative space ‘where talent converges, stories unfold, and behind-the-scenes creativity takes center stage.
As the founder and president of Officially Slated, Shereese mentors aspiring hair and makeup artists in TV, film, and the beauty industry, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and industry connections needed to succeed.
Shereese’s entrepreneurial ventures include serving as CEO of Jenesis Milan, a branding and endorsement agency, and as publisher of Shereese Hair & Beauty Lifestyle Magazine. She has owned and operated multiple salons in Detroit and Texas, and launched her own haircare line, professional flat iron, and one of the first direct- sale hair extension companies in the U.S.
She is the creator of the Officially Slated Set Ready Hair Palette-developed in
collaboration with Cinemakeup Studios-a professional product designed for hair and makeup artists on set, formulated to blend color seamlessly across all hair types for flawless, camera-ready results.
